AimCalc is a ballistic calculator for iPhone and Apple Watch: point-mass solver with G1/G7 drag models, live environment capture, D.O.P.E. cards, targets, a range journal, and a watch companion for range and wind on the fly.

When reporting a calculation concern, the fastest path to a fix is including your gun profile numbers (BC, drag model, muzzle velocity, zero range, sight height), the environmental conditions, and the range where the app and your impacts disagree.

Common questions

Why is my D.O.P.E. different from the factory box? Factory velocities come from test barrels. Chronograph your rifle, or shoot a known distance and adjust muzzle velocity until the app matches your impacts.

Why does the solution look wrong up close? At very short range the hold is dominated by sight height over bore, a large hold-up at 5 yards is correct geometry.

Does the app work without cell service? Yes. Everything solves on-device. Weather capture needs a connection, but all values can be entered manually, and saved D.O.P.E. cards live in your photo library.

Where do my journal photos go? Into the app's own storage on your device, not your photo library, and never to us. Deleting an entry deletes its photo.

What is the agreement on first launch? The Terms of Use: lawful sporting use only, never against a person, and you own safety and legal compliance. You can re-read it anytime in Settings → About → Terms of Use.
